How I work
My foundation is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I also draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic approaches when they fit the person in front of me.
I’ve trained in community mental health, individual and group therapy, and school mental health. Sessions are collaborative: we clarify what’s going on, then build skills you can use outside the room — whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, self-doubt, grief, relationship challenges, or a life transition.
A path that wasn’t straight
My own path into counseling wasn’t linear. I earned graduate degrees in business and law, raised a family, and later returned to school for counseling. Life takes unexpected turns — and that experience shapes how I sit with clients who are rewriting a chapter they didn’t see coming.
